Residents in Wuxi City are increasingly embracing a bus-hailing service that enables passengers to book a bus ride online for just 3 yuan.

Operating daily from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm, eleven buses serve the city’s two areas within the Wuxi Economic Development Zone and Huishan District, each spanning about 12 square kilometers. Initially attracting 20 orders, the bus-hailing service now sees more than 200 orders per day at most.

More than 7,000 people have registered for this innovative bus service, with 2,500 becoming regular passengers. The average trip distance is about 2.3 kilometers, and buses typically arrive at stations within 3 to 5 minutes after receiving an order.
