A helicopter service between Nantong and Suzhou was launched on August 16, enriching travel options between the two cities.

It takes about 25 minutes from a service base near Zilang Lake in Nantong to Suzhou Industrial Park.

The base is operated by Ruoer General Aviation Development Group, one of the largest low-altitude flying operators in China. After conducting test flights among several cities, Ruohang plans to open routes from Nantong to Changzhou, Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, and Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
