The 2023 Cross-Straits Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, featuring 120 shortlisted projects, took place in Changzhou City of Jiangsu Province on August 22.

The competition will focus on electronic information, intelligent manufacturing, health and medicine, new energy, new materials, modern agriculture and modern service industries. A total of 50 projects will advance to the finals.

The organizing committee has invited more than 30 venture capital firms to engage in the preliminaries and finals. Additionally, Changzhou West Taihu Lake Science and Technology Zone has set up subsidies to promote the application of technological innovations, and for the wining projects that are chosen to settle in the zone.
