Foreigners explore charm of Changzhou in Discover Jiangsu program

Fourteen foreigners from countries including Italy, Russia and Pakistan joined the latest session of Discover Jiangsu program held in Changzhou on September 5 and 6.

In the program hosted by the Information Office and the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People''s Government, participants experienced a light show and also visited the Yancheng Ruins Park, EV charging company Star Charge and the China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park.

The group also learned traditional procedures to make Jiangsu-style mooncake, the hallmark food of the Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on September 6 this year, such as preparing the dough and filling.

Gleb Sanzaro from Australia said that it’s fun to make mooncake for first time and gives him a sense of achievement. He also said this is his first time to try out the local version of mooncake.

Krasnikov Andrei from Russia also enjoyed the program and planned to make a video to share the beautiful memories in the trip on overseas social media platforms.
