The "Green Code, Chinese Wisdom" International Youth Dialogue brought a delegation to Yancheng for an on‑site inspection of the ecological conservation achievements at the Yellow Sea Wetlands.

Professor Chang Chun Kiat, Director of the River Engineering and Urban Drainage Research Centre at Universiti Sains Malaysia, expressed his admiration after the visit. He noted that ecological restoration cannot be accomplished in just a year or two; it requires sustained effort over time. He praised Yancheng's long‑term commitment to conservation, saying that the city’s persistent approach offers a valuable reference for the rest of the world in wetland governance.
