Safina from The Republic of Tajikistan shares her deep connection with a classic Chinese poem, which is not long or complex, but a short piece of just twenty characters.
The poem is Wang Zhihuan's "On the Stork Tower".
"It's very short, but the meaning is so profound." She recalls the first time she tried to memorize the poem. "It was hard. I didn't really understand the meaning." But then something clicked. "When I finally understood it, it felt like opening a whole new world. Very interesting."
Every time she reads the poem, she feels motivated.
