From the earliest stirrup in Chinese history to the large frescoes of horses in ancient Pompeii, from the Chinese Tea Horse Road to the European knight culture, horses have become a bond between different peoples, and a messenger between different cultures.

American student Kuba, now majoring in oil painting at Nanjing University of the Arts, shared his insights with JiangsuNow on how horses have connected the Eastern and Western civilizations.
