LG Energy Solution (LGES) has been developing in Jiangsu for over 20 years, mainly producing small batteries, automotive power batteries, and energy storage batteries. In January 2025, LGES set up its China headquarters in Nanjing, the provincial capital of Jiangsu. "The establishment of the headquarters conveys the company's confidence in Chinese market and its recognition of Jiangsu's business environment," Choi said.

From a manufacturing base to an innovation hub, Jiangsu has become a strategic pivot for more and more multinational companies.

"The policy support and legal guarantee are sound and reliable. And customs clearance and intellectual property protection measures also provide a stable and predictable environment, which is particularly important for us. These are the major reasons for our long-term investment in Jiangsu," said Choi.
