The "smile" of a Yangtze finless porpoise has traveled thousands of kilometers to meet the eyes of young people on the shores of the Atlantic.
On October 2 local time, the "Green Code, Chinese Wisdom" International Youth Dialogue on River and Lake Ecological Governance was held at the University of Algarve in Faro, Portugal, alongside the special exhibition "From the Yangtze to the Ocean: Yangtze Finless Porpoise Conservation and Public Action".
"I know that Chinese people have taken care of the marine environment. They are doing what I want to do in the future—to protect the environment and protect species. They touched something inside me," said Ariel Iacaza, a student at the university.
