CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive has successfully secured multiple key rail transit projects in Mexico recently, covering areas such as subway renovation and light rail construction. This marks another significant milestone for China's high-end equipment manufacturing in its global expansion.

The auxiliary power supply systems for these projects are exclusively provided by Hoppecke Battery Systems (Liyang) Co., Ltd., located in the Liyang High-tech Zone in Jiangsu's Changzhou. These "power hearts", intelligently manufactured in Liyang, provide solid support for CRRC's expansion across the Americas.

As Hoppecke Group's core production and R&D base in the Chinese market, the Liyang facility has been deeply integrated into China's high-end equipment and rail transit industry chain since it began operations in 2016. It has long supplied critical battery systems for subways and high-speed trains in many regions across China.

During his visit to China, Dr. Marc Zoellner, CEO of Hoppecke Group, stated frankly that they have great trust in the Chinese market and are full of confidence in its business development here in Liyang.

This confidence stems not only from the solid foundation of Sino-German industrial cooperation but also from the strong growth momentum of the Liyang facility. Since the start of the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), Liyang has continued to expand its opening-up and optimize its international business environment. A number of global industry leaders, including Bühler, Sateri, and Solvay, have established a presence in the city.
