In 2025, the key water conservancy projects in Jiangsu Province completed an investment of 22.33 billion yuan, with a completion rate of 101.5%.

Among them, six major provincial projects completed an investment of 11.03 billion yuan, with a completion rate of 100.6%. Waterway project linking the Huaihe River with the sea completed an annual investment of 7.03 billion yuan, with a completion rate of 100.4%. The reinforcement project of the Northern Jiangsu Canal Irrigation Embankment was fully completed, meeting the target within two years.

Furthermore, the province completed the modernization construction and renovation of 24 large and medium-sized irrigation areas in the past year. A total of 446 kilometers of rural rivers were also rejuvenated, with a completion rate of 112%.
