The tourism market in Jiangsu Province kicked off the New Year holiday with great enthusiasm. From 16:00 on December 31, 2025 to 16:00 on January 3, 2026, a total of 19.43 million tourists were received by 781 scenic spots, 365 rural tourism sites, 97 night-time cultural and tourism consumption clusters, 253 cultural and historical venues, and 62 tourist resorts in the province.

The total tourist consumption reached 9.61 billion yuan, with a daily growth rate of 15.62% and 15.27% compared to January 1, 2025.

From January 1 to January 2, 2026, the number of tourists orders and consumption amounts on the Meituan platform in Jiangsu ranked second nationwide, while on the Ctrip and Fliggy platforms, the number of tourists orders in Jiangsu ranked third nationwide. On the Tongcheng platform, the number of tourists orders in Jiangsu ranked third nationwide. According to Baidu data, Jiangsu received the second-highest number of domestic tourists in the country.
