As the New Year holiday approaches, Nanjing Lukou International Airport is set to see increasing passenger traffic, driven by enhanced facilitation measures, including the 240-hour visa-free transit for foreign nationals and unilateral visa-free entry policies.
Over the holiday period, the airport is expected to handle around 130 international passenger flights, serving more than 23,000 passenger trips. On January 1 alone, passenger volumes are projected to exceed 8,000 trips.
The airport currently operates 25 international routes linking more than 10 countries and regions across Europe, Oceania and Asia.
