Jiangsu Province is home to 18 of China's national high-tech industrial development zones, the highest among all provincial-level regions, according to the latest list of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

These development zones play a key role in advancing China's innovation-driven development strategy. Following Jiangsu are Guangdong and Shandong, with 14 and 13 zones, respectively.

Among Jiangsu's 18 high-tech zones, Suzhou has four, while Wuxi and Changzhou each have two.
