On December 5, the launch event for the 2025 "Jiangsu New Consumption • Warm Winter Shopping Festival" and the 12.12 Shopping Carnival will open at Hall B of the Suzhou International Expo Center.
This activity introduces a vibrant consumption season through innovative shopping experiences, new business formats, and models. With nearly 300 booths across over 10,000 square meters, the exhibition highlights two key local campaigns—"Jiangsu New Consumption" and "Jiangsu Brands & Products"—featuring seven themed sections: Home Appliances, Local Cuisine, Automobiles, Food & Beverage, Sports, Jiangsu Cultural Heritage, and Entertainment.
During the province-wide Winter Shopping Festival, a series of initiatives will address consumer needs across dining, accommodation, transportation, tourism, shopping, and entertainment. Ten major promotional activities will be rolled out, including enhanced programs for automobile trade-ins, the "Super Jiangsu Products Shopping Spree," the 12.12 Shopping Carnival, and the ongoing "Fuel Up Jiangsu" lottery invoice campaign—all designed to boost winter spending.
To further stimulate consumption, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce will partner with UnionPay Jiangsu to launch the "Super Jiangsu Products Shopping Spree," offering a total of 200 million RMB in subsidies from UnionPay and participating merchants. Bank of Jiangsu will also invest 12 million RMB in December to promote spending in key sectors such as dining, electronics, and home appliances.
Attendees can enjoy exclusive on-site benefits. The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Suzhou Branch and UnionPay Jiangsu will select several lucky winners to receive shopping vouchers worth 88,000 RMB and 8,000 RMB respectively. Bank of Jiangsu will distribute 5,000 spend-and-save coupons, 2,000 digital currency red envelopes, along with special offers like 1 RMB digital currency purchases for "Yuanda Chang" cash vouchers and 0.01 RMB coffee tasting.
Beyond financial incentives, many businesses will offer substantial discounts and layered promotions. Adding to the excitement, elements from Jiangsu’s trending 2025 cultural phenomenon—the "Jiangsu Super League" (a local sports league)—will be featured, including a full-scale replica of the league championship trophy and popular cultural-creative products showcased at the recent China International Import Expo.
The Warm Winter Shopping Festival will run from December 2025 through March 2026, with the "12.12 Consumption Carnival" taking place from December 5 to 20, offering a wide range of consumer benefits and activities.
