Nanjing opened a new trade route to Southeast Asia on October 25.

The new route operates twice a month, providing direct service to Jakarta while linking ports such as Port Klang in Malaysia, and Chennai and Visakhapatnam in India.

With Port Klang serving as a transshipment hub, the route facilitates trade between China and emerging manufacturing and consumer markets. Efforts have also been made to optimize the route in order to improve efficiency.
