Dongluo Village, located in Xinghua, Taizhou City, was included in the Best Tourism Villages 2025 list released by the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) on October 17. It is the first village in Jiangsu Province winning this recognition.

Strolling along its stone-paved alleys, visitors can explore the village's heritage inside an exhibition hall that brings to life the ancient craft of cormorant fishing as well as traditional oil and wine workshops.

Dongluo has adopted a “government + private investor + village collective” development model. In this model, the government enhances infrastructure and public services, market operators help develop rural homestays, and villagers become partners.
