The Tang Desheng Photography Exhibition, focusing on the Grand Canal, opened in Nanjing on October 21 and will run until November 2.

Since the 1960s, photographer Tang has travelled more than 1,000 kilometers along the ancient waterway system, creating over 20,000 photographs that comprehensively document the transformation of the canal across different eras.

The exhibition features more than 120 selected works, capturing portraits, traditional customs and the daily life of fishermen.
