At the Belt and Road Journalists Forum seminar on "Speaking in Concert and Strengthening the Voice of the Global South," journalists from Laos, Mongolia and Angola turned to a topic close to daily life: Chinese social media.

Though they use different apps back home, the conversation revealed a shared attitude—curiosity about what's popular here, a willingness to try, and above all a hope to stay connected, maintain the friendships made at this forum, and keep working together across borders.
