On October 16, a seminar on "Speaking in Concert and Strengthening the Voice of the Global South" was held as part of the 2026 Belt and Road Journalists Forum in Nanjing. International guests who had just returned from the Nantong field trip gathered to share their thoughts.

From what they saw in Nantong to what stories they'd like to report together, from Chinese social media to people-to-people exchange, the guests from different countries found themselves thinking along the same lines: to tell the Global South's story well, journalists need to see it for themselves; and to keep this resonance alive, more journalists need to visit each other's countries.
