In celebration of the Lantern Festival, Gaoyou City launched the 2026 Lantern Show in Yuchengyi Street on February 28.

Each town of the city integrated historical landmarks and intangible cultural heritage into the lantern designs, allowing visitors to experience the local culture while enjoying the festival.

The activities including making of lanterns also offer visitors an opportunity to enjoy the local culture of Gaoyou.

The event will last until March 29.
