The Jiangsu Provincial Government issued a notice on the renaming of Huaiyin Institute of Technology to Huai'an University on February 26.

Huai'an University is a provincial institution that mainly offers undergraduate education while also conducting postgraduate program.

Located in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province, the university has three campuses, covering a total area of about 146 hectares, with a total building area of over 730,000 square meters. It offers 74 undergraduate programs and 14 master's degree programs. There are over 24,000 full-time students currently, including more than 1,600 postgraduate students.
