Deputies attending the Fifth Session of the 14th Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress arrived for the congress on February 2.

Wei Guo, deputy to the Provincial People's Congress and deputy director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Dafeng District, Yancheng City, introduced that at the end of last year, the Dafeng Port Economic Development Zone of Yancheng City was added to the first batch of national zero-carbon park list. Before the meeting, Wei Guo had conducted a lot of research, and expressed that he would offer suggestions on issues such as the supply of innovative elements and green financing.

Lin Wei, a Provincial People's Congress deputy and an associate professor at the School of Physics of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, focuses on the transformation of scientific and educational resources, with particular attention paid to the construction of a low-altitude economic safety system. In his view, Jiangsu needs to solve deep-seated problems with systematic thinking and become a solid force supporting national high-quality development.

Gao Wen, deputy to the Provincial People's Congress and QA Manager at Jiangsu Huachen Transformer Company, has noticed that Jiangsu is taking the "Artificial Intelligence Plus" initiative as the driving force to build an innovation application highland. Emerging industrial clusters such as new energy, intelligent connected vehicles, and low-altitude economy are growing rapidly, and future industries like humanoid robots and quantum information are gathering momentum. She suggested that all regions should make differentiated layouts based on their resource endowments, so as to effectively transform new quality productive forces into economic increments.

Zhou Yan, Party secretary of Nanjian Community in Liangxi District, Wuxi City, suggested building a multi-departmental collaborative full-chain protection mechanism for the rights and interests of workers.
