According to the data released by Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Statistics, January 28, Jiangsu Province achieved a regional GDP of 14.235 trillion yuan in 2025, representing a year-on-year growth of 5.3%.

Jiangsu's regional GDP increased from 10.5 trillion yuan in 2020 to 14.2 trillion yuan in 2025, crossing four trillion-yuan thresholds in these years.

The total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in the province reached 952.61 billion yuan in 2025. The added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 6.5% year-on-year, with the private enterprises and joint-stock enterprises leadng the growth rate.

The service industry has shown a good growth momentum. Key areas such as wholesale and retail, and information transmission have achieved remarkable growth. From January to November 2025, tourism and entertainment services increased by 11.1% year-on-year.

In 2025, the output value of high-tech industries in Jiangsu Province accounted for 52.1% of the total output value of designated-size industries, an increase of 1.4 percentage points compared with the previous year.

In 2025, the total retail sales of consumer goods in the province reached 4.6 trillion yuan, increasing by 3.3% year-on-year. The growth rate of consumption in rural areas was higher than that in urban areas.

The per capita disposable income of the entire province was 57,971 yuan, increasing by 4.6% year-on-year. The per capita income ratio between urban and rural areas dropped to 2.02.

In 2025, Jiangsu's total value of imports and exports reached 5.95 trillion yuan, increasing by 6% year-on-year and accounting for 13.1% of the national total.
