The high-speed railway connecting Nanjing and Wuxi to Hong Kong was launched on January 27. It takes about 7.5 hours to reach Hong Kong's West Kowloon Station from Nanjing South Railway Station. The whole journey from Wuxi East Station to West Kowloon takes more than 8 hours.

Previously, Suzhou South Railway Station had already opened high-speed railway service to Hong Kong starting January 5, 2025.
