By the end of 2025, Jiangsu Province had a cumulative grid-connected capacity of 13.49 million kilowatts of offshore wind power, ranking first in the country and accounting for nearly 30% of the national total.
Jiangsu has a coastline of 954 kilometers and enjoys unique offshore wind energy resources and a complete wind power industrial chain. The latest data shows that Jiangsu's offshore wind power can provide more than 30 billion kilowatt-hours of green electricity to the Yangtze River Delta each year, equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by more than 22 million tons.
Among them, Yancheng's grid-connected capacity of offshore wind power exceeds 7.2 million kilowatts, making the city the largest offshore wind power provider in China.
Yancheng has the largest offshore wind power industrial cluster in the country, forming an offshore wind power industrial chain covering scientific research, equipment manufacturing and maintenance services.
