An exhibition on ancient Chinese decorative motifs and patterns opened on December 30 at the Museum of Wu in Suzhou City.
The exhibition brings together more than 370 rare cultural relics from across China, including bronzes, jades, gold and silver wares, ceramics and garments, spanning a history of around 7,000 years.
Named after the ancient Wu state and its rich cultural heritage, the museum is also hosting a series of public programs alongside the exhibition, including academic lectures, book events, and workshops for handicrafts and performance, offering visitors a deeper engagement with the evolution of traditional Chinese decorative art.
