The Enterprise Confederations and Enterprise Directors Associations of Shanghai and the provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui have jointly unveiled the lists of Top 100 Enterprises and Top 100 Private Enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta.
As one of the most vibrant, open and innovative city clusters in China, the Yangtze River Delta has been advancing high-quality integrated development as a national strategy.
A total of 24 enterprises from Jiangsu made the Top 100 list, with Hengli Group ranking thrid and Shenghong Holding Group ranking seventh.
Overall, the Top 100 enterprises recorded a new high of 21.4 trillion yuan in revenue for 2024, an increase of 3.27% year-on-year. The entry threshold rose to 76.73 billion yuan.
Private enterprises performed strongly, with 54 companies making the list — the first time they accounted for more than half. Their total revenue reached 12.1 trillion yuan, 56.61% of the total.
