Jiangsu Province has built 318,000 5G base stations during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), achieving 5G coverage in more than 95% of all villages, according to data released at the 2025 Jiangsu Internet Conference on December 2.

Meanwhile, the number of gigabit broadband users in the province has increased to 20.04 million, the largest among provincial-level regions nationwide.
