Jiangsu Province now holds more than 140,000 patents in the artificial intelligence sector, ranking third nationwide, according to data released at the 2025 World Intelligent Manufacturing Conference in Nanjing on November 27.

Highlighting its rapid development, the province's average annual growth rate in AI patent applications has reached 20.1% over the past five years.

Furthermore, data shows that around 3,000 patents related to humanoid robot technologies have been filed globally each year since 2021, and Jiangsu's patent volume in this emerging field ranks fourth nationwide.
