The 2025 Jiangsu International Exchange Week on the cooperation and integration of industry, education, research and application opened at Soochow University on October 27.

The Jiangsu–Africa University Cooperation Alliance was officially inaugurated as part of the opening ceremony.

Jointly initiated by Nanjing Tech University and the University of Johannesburg, the alliance brings together 13 universities from Jiangsu Province and 23 universities from 13 African countries. Its primary goal is to cultivate talent and strengthen collaboration in scientific and technological innovation.
