Janice, a foreign volunteer in Nanjing, has been living in the city for nearly two years. For about a year, she has been working with the Nanjing Finless Porpoise and Aquatic Life Protection Association, driven by a deep‑rooted passion for environmental protection that began in her childhood.

“I've been doing environmental work since I was a child,” she says. The event gives her the opportunity to connect with other people who care about the environment and biodiversity.
